Why Beeswax?

Beeswax is a remarkable natural material produced by honeybees from nectar gathered among blossoms. With its warm golden colour and subtle honey aroma, it has been used for candle making for centuries.

Pure beeswax burns with a steady, gentle flame and is naturally free from synthetic fragrance, dyes and paraffin. Each EirHolt candle is hand-poured using pure beeswax, allowing the natural character of the wax and the individuality of every antique vessel to shine.
