Essence of Beyla is a slow-stirred blend of Tasmanian Leatherwood honey, fresh royal jelly, bee bread, bee pollen and propolis, bringing together five traditional bee-derived ingredients in one carefully crafted blend.

Leatherwood Honey

Leatherwood honey is one of Australia’s most distinctive honeys, produced from the blossoms of the Tasmanian Leatherwood tree, which flowers for only a short period each year in remote ancient forests. Its floral aroma and smooth golden texture create the rich base of this blend.

Fresh Royal Jelly

Fresh royal jelly is the exclusive food of the queen bee throughout her life. It naturally contains proteins, lipids and unique compounds such as 10-HDA, a fatty acid characteristic of royal jelly.

Bee Bread

Bee bread is pollen collected by worker bees, mixed with nectar and enzymes, then stored in the hive where it naturally ferments. It serves as an important food source for developing bees within the colony.

Bee Pollen

Bee pollen consists of flower pollens gathered by bees and formed into granules with nectar and enzymes. It naturally contains proteins, amino acids and a diverse range of plant compounds that vary depending on the flowers visited by the bees.

Propolis

Propolis is a resinous material collected by bees from tree buds and other plant sources. Bees use it to seal and line parts of the hive. It naturally contains plant resins, aromatic compounds and flavonoids.

When stored correctly, the honey blend remains stable for up to 12 months, although the freshness of the royal jelly will gradually decline over time.
