Named after Skadi, the Norse goddess of winter, mountains, wilderness and the untamed northern landscapes, Skadi’s Forage is inspired by the forests and berry-covered landscapes of the North. It brings together four simple wholefood ingredients: bee pollen, wild bilberry, rosehip and juniper.

Made entirely from wholefood ingredients, this blend celebrates the natural flavours and diversity of berries, botanicals and bee products.

Bee Pollen

Collected by honeybees from flowering plants, bee pollen is a traditional food naturally containing proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals and a variety of plant compounds, including flavonoids.

Wild Bilberry

Wild bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) differ from cultivated blueberries by their deep purple flesh and naturally rich colour. They contain naturally occurring anthocyanins, flavonoids and polyphenols, giving the blend its rich berry character.

Rosehip

Rosehips are the fruit of the rose plant and have been enjoyed for centuries throughout Europe. They naturally contain vitamin C, carotenoids, polyphenols and fruit acids, contributing a bright, slightly tart flavour.

Juniper Berry

Juniper berries have a long history of culinary use across northern Europe. Used in small amounts, they contribute distinctive forest aromas and naturally occurring terpenes.
