Each ingredient is carefully selected for its traditional role in oral care: minerals for polishing, clay for cleansing, mint for freshness and propolis for its long history in hive protection and botanical use.

While Vikings did not use modern toothpaste, archaeological evidence suggests they cleaned their teeth using chewing sticks, salt, herbs, ash and mineral abrasives. This formula draws inspiration from those older, simpler methods of oral care.

Limestone Powder (Calcium Carbonate)

A naturally occurring mineral long used in traditional tooth powders for polishing and cleaning the teeth. We use whole limestone powder rather than isolated synthetic calcium systems.

Organic Bentonite Clay

A mineral-rich clay traditionally used for cleansing. Gives the powder its smooth texture while helping lift debris from the teeth and mouth.

Propolis Powder

One of nature’s most fascinating bee substances. Bees use propolis to protect and maintain the hive itself. Rich in naturally occurring plant compounds and resins, propolis has been traditionally valued in herbal and oral care preparations for centuries.

Organic Peppermint Leaf Powder

A cooling botanical herb that gives the blend a gentle freshness without the overpowering flavour of artificial mint oils.

Organic Elderberry Powder

Adds earthy botanical notes and the soft natural colour unique to the formula.

Fine Sea Salt

A mineral-rich ingredient historically used in traditional oral cleansing practices throughout many cultures.

How It Feels

When opened, the jar carries a subtle aroma of mint and warm propolis resin.

The brushing experience is fresh but mild—not intensely minty like commercial toothpaste. The mouth feels clean, smooth and refreshed without heavy artificial flavouring or foaming.

Because this formula contains real propolis, small natural resin particles may occasionally remain after rinsing. This is completely normal.

How to Use

Dip a dry toothbrush lightly into the powder or sprinkle a small amount onto the brush.

Brush gently for 2 minutes and rinse well.

For a creamier texture, some customers enjoy blending a small amount of powder with extra virgin coconut oil before brushing.
